The Roos
Please note: Due to increased demand we have added a 4th Roos session.
This is our junior section of the club. It has its own dedicated Coaches, lead by Francoise Lucas, she is ably assisted by Imogen Howard, Joe Chandler, and Jo Withington
The Roos is open to children under 8 years old who wish to take part in competitive trampolining. All Roo's train to compete either at beginner level or grade I and H.
There are now four Roos sessions, running 9.00am - 10.00.10, 10.00am - 11.00am, 11.00am - 12.00pm and 12.00pm - 1.00 pm on Saturday mornings, with their own dedicated coaches. If you would like your child to be considered for the Roos, please contact info at cangaroos.org, to be placed on the waiting list
We have had great success in the club over the last year, with all of our Roos competing in the various Open competitions in our region.

Report for 2009 AGM:
Well I can’t believe another year has gone by and we’ve seen
the Roos go from eight members last year to nineteen members this year.
We are now running three Roos sessions with the help of some of our assistant
coaches Imogen Howard and Jo Chandler with cover from Imogen Pickup and
Sophie Housden. A very big thank you them all as they work very hard with
the younger members.
It’s been such fun teaching the younger members, they are all so
eager to learn and do well, they love working on their award scheme, to
see their faces when they have achieved one of their awards is so rewarding
as a coach, I’m sure Sarah would agree.
The Roos who were members last December competed (for most) in their first
competition receiving great scores for their efforts, since then some
have moved on into the main session and doing very well.
Now with the Roos established we feel the club will have good base to
become a competition force within the Eastern Region.
