We have to register all members with BG as it is a condition of their insurance policy. We also have to register everyone over 6 years old with ECGA (Eastern Counties Gymnastics Association) at £2.50. The club then adds on a nominal sum to make a round figure. The extra money helps pay for the required BG club membership, CRB checks, child protection courses, judging courses etc. for all the volunteers/committee members (all unpaid) without which the club could not run.

Please note, all members must complete and sign the Acceptance
Form. This form is a record of the members agreement to abide by the
club polices and rules. Failure to complete the form and return it to
a member of the Executive committee may result in your membership being
suspended or even terminated.
Notice Board & Folders
The club has erected a notice board at Sawston
Sports Centre (next to the Squash court). This is for latest information
about the club as well as press clippings and other information.
It also displays our insurance certificate. The notice board was kindly
sponsored by Roland Amey.
Under our Gym Mark agreement, each centre must also maintain a Notice
Folder. This folder contains copies of all our forms, our certificates
and club details. Should you ever need this information, whilst training,
please ask a committee member or the coach. These is available at every
centre.

Parents: we need your help
Taking part in a sport is an expensive business, paying for club fees,
paying for classes, paying for kit and competition expenses, it all mounts
up. Cangaroos wants to alleviate that burden by seeking to enlist sponsors
for the club.
We want to purchase kit and equipment and we are willing to put the company details onto anything bought with sponsorship assistance. Additionally, we will make an area on the website specifically for sponsors so full details can be shown and links to their information displayed.
The best way of gaining sponsorship is by having introductions. So, please consider who you know and where you work. Would they be willing to sponsor the club to buy kit bags for the members? Or polo shirts, sweat shirts or T-shirts? All will carry their name and details in return. If they are prepared to sponsor equipment, we will put a plate on anything they donate towards.
Please make the introductions and then pass on the details to a committee member or to Stuart (stuartk at cangaroos.org).
Thank you for your help, hopefully we can raise enough support to lessen your financial burden as parents and improve your childs experience.
