In February 2007, Cangaroos was host to the Eastern Regions first Development day. This is an initiative devised by the regional Course Development Officer, John Mitchell, Cangaroos Head Coach, Tony Fagelman and Cangaroos Competition Secretary and coach, Laura Shapiro. The day was designed to be the the first of 4 such events held throughout the region to develop compeitive excellence in our up and comming trampolining stars and to enhance the work of the regions coaches, so we can all strive towards excellence and the National Technical Priorities, as promoted by GB National Coaches, Jack Kelly & John Beer. We were delighted to have Sophie Housden selected to take part in development squad. We hope that others will qualify throughout the season. The 2nd development squad day took place in May at the Ministry of Air, again Sophie attended, along with head coach Tony Fagelman.
