A great weekend at Birmingham for the 2012 National Finals. Having qualified in the Galas throughout the year Ali, Luis and Nat went up Friday for orientation and then to feast on Chinese. This was there chance to compete for the national title (and more bragging rights).
Joined by Tony Saturday morning it was Luis first on DMT. Small mistakes on his passes pushed him down to 14th but only narrowly missing out on the final.
Next up was Ali who held his nerves to complete two routines with mid 7s and high 6s to finish 21st. Well done.
Luis followed with great routines and took 6th to qualify for the final 8 on Sunday - excellent!
Unfortunately, after doing an excellent Set Nat was unable to finish his vol and crashed out to finish 12th - unlucky
