It was a stormy evening in Essex as Tony's mighty Aston Martin Saab roared up to Brentwood, Essex for the first NPD competition hosted by Trampoline East. The turn out was expectedly low but our Cangaroos shone through the storm delivering 2nd for Zach, 1st for Lawrence and 3rd for Mila. This was a first try at the new BG structure as the eastern region continues to support the older grading system on all Sundays. Our bouncers handled the new routines very well and we have bright hopes for them.

As Sunday came and Neil panicked over his inability to print out the results the rest of the competition poured into Brentwood like a swarm of bees to the hive. First up was the ever improving Katie Evans. Her sensational routine (although harshly marked) saw her finish in 2nd and qualify up to Regional F. At the same time Sollie and Toby competed in Regional H and finished 4th and 1st respectively.

Following them was Abhi in regional G and he took home a noble 4th place. Shortly after him was Sydney in her first Regional E competition and she also took a respectable 4th place.

Rhyannon bounced well in regional G and finished in XX and Aaliyah in XX.

Sine continues to amaze the Cangaroos with her sensational cakes and her daughter Lexi's routine was nearly as sweet finishing XX. Following them was Meghan Searle also bouncing in Regional G and she came in XX.

Our hero of the day was Gabe Green who not only managed to come 2nd in Regional F but also manage to quickly get changed after to lend his trousers to Henry Ashton in Regional G who came in 3rd place.

As lunch approached Tony and Franky performed an incredible magic trick teleporting themselves to the buffet table like the stealthy food ninjas they are. Luis (who had been judging for the first time ever all morning) came away with some good experience of what it is like to be behind the score boards - something the club believes all coaches should do.

Jordan made a valiant effort in Regional D coming 1st against strong competition but did not quite make it to National C.

Over on girls national C Trinity came in first after two great routines. Alexa Hanson on the opposite trampoline in Regional G took home a noble XX place and finally Katie Golding finished in a painfully close 4th place.

So a great day for the Cangaroos and we now look forward to our older bouncers who will be competing in the Cambridge Open on February 8th.
