As the sun rose on Remembrance Sunday the annual friendly Brentwood Open competition began at Brentwood School Sports Centre with only Ali entering for the Cangaroos. Neil as usual had setup his nest in the corner of the hall and the competition was running smoothly. After a two minute silence out of respect to those who served for their country Ali was competing in the Over 15 Band 6 group.
It was a high quality group with all completed routine tariffs being over 7.8. Despite reasonable set routine he nearly clipped the end on the vol (but just held it) and finished in 4th place. Thanks must go to Laura for coaching and Tammy for moral support.
The next competition for the Cangaroos will be the national league finals in London and then the year-ending Club Competition.
