Last weekend Cangaroos Senior Squad members competed in the second Trampoline and DMT League event in Kettering. The largest trampoline and DMT competition ever in the UK with over 1600 entries!
We are still reveling in the success of our gymnasts, made all the more impressive by the huge number of individuals in each group. Some huge PBs and brilliant routines and passes resulted in 10 medals and hundreds of League points contributing to a (potential) ticket to the finals in October.
Competitions are often super long days and in last weekends heat, it really was not for the faint hearted.
Thank you to Josie for being a super hero 'controller' (marshall) for the day. To Emma for being Josie's second in command and also doing a sterling job. To Abby for being front of house and running the show. To the parents that kept us going with cold drinks. And to Tony, Nicky and Nicola for coaching and running from bed to bed for 2 days!
A hugely successful weekend.
