On Sunday 21st August Cangaroos hosted a Proficiency Coaching Course for up-and-coming coaches in the club. With 12 registered student coaches, 3 of which came from Dragons, the course was full.
Run by Head Coach and Regional Tutor, Tony Fagelman, the student coaches learnt how to conduct a warm-up, coach spotting, mounting and dismounting the trampoline, basic bouncing techniques, kipping, killing, body landings with twists in and out and assisting senior coaches with supporting hands and knees turnover and ¾ turnover.
It was a great day and everyone passed the course with flying colours. We now look forward to welcoming our new coaches into positions where we can use their skills and experience in the club.
