A total of eighty five people (parents and children) attended the first Cambridge Cangaroos annual awards evening dinner and dance. This year we are delighted to have former GB coach Jack Kelly and former GB international Jan Jelly presenting the awards. Jack gave an inspiring speech about aiming high and making sure you have the right mindset to achieve your best.
The Champions Cups are awarded to the performers who have the highest points for form awarded at the recent annual club competition for Roos (under 8s), Intermediate and Elite levels.
In addition, the club recognises the hardest working member as Cangaroo of the Year, and also the most improved competitor at each of the four sites that the club runs sessions at and for the Roos. This year the trophies went to the following:
