AGM 2015

Date: Wednesday 8th July 2015 at The Rose, Stapleford


The Cambridge Cangaroos Trampoline Club Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 8th July 2015 in the Lounge Room at The Rose, Stapleford. Light snacks will be provided from 7.15pm, with the meeting starting at 7.30pm.

All Club members, parents/carers are welcome to attend and hear about the Club's plans for the forthcoming year. The Club is always looking for volunteers for the Committee and various events - if you would like to put yourself forward for a particular position or would like to join the Committee and attend meetings as a member 'without portfolio', please let Kim (kimp@cangaroos.org) know by Tuesday 30th June.

Positions on the Committee are as follows:

Chair - volunteer

To assist in the development of the trampoline club. To chair meetings of the committee. To chair the remuneration committee. To be a spokesperson for the club and relevant events and media activity.

Vice-Chair - volunteer

To act on behalf of the Chair in their absence and assist the Chair as required.

Club Secretary - volunteer

To assist in the development of the trampoline club. To maintain the membership records system in conjunction with the Treasurer. To handle enquiries and queries to the club. To work with British Gymnastics on all related matters.

Treasurer - volunteer

To assist in the development of the trampoline club. To maintain the financial system required in order to run the club efficiently. To maintain the membership records system in conjunction with the Secretary. To manage the club Bank Account.

Session Allocation Manager - volunteer

To liaise with existing members to determine appropriate training sessions. To respond to new members enquiries to the Club email and liaise with the enquirer and coach(es) to organise a suitable ‘taster’ session. To follow-up ‘taster’ sessions and liaise with Club Secretary and Treasurer with new member’s details.

Fundraising Officer - volunteer

To assist in the development of the trampoline club. To research fund-raising opportunities relevant to the club. To manage funding applications to, and liaise with, relevant organisations/bodies on behalf of the club.

Webmaster - volunteer

To assist in the development of the trampoline club. To maintain and update the club's website. To create new member's records and ensure existing members can access their personal records. To maintain the on-line session registers and provide assistance to the Treasurer with invoicing from the system.

Welfare Officer - volunteer

To assist in the development of the trampoline club. To provide welfare assistance to the club members and be a point of contact for members, parents, coaches and club officials and officers in welfare matters

Volunteers

We also welcome anyone who would like to volunteer with the planning of events/competitions/fundraising etc., but who would prefer not to join the Committee. Please contact Kim (kimp@cangaroos.org) if you would like to volunteer your services!
