AGM 2017

Date: Wednesday 12th July 2017 at The Rose, Stapleford


All Club members, parents/carers are welcome to attend and hear about the Club's plans for the forthcoming year at 7:30pm on 12th July in The Rose pub, Stapleford. The Club is always looking for volunteers for the Committee and various events - if you would like to put yourself forward for a particular position or would like to join the Committee and attend meetings as a member 'without portfolio', please let Kim (kimp@cangaroos.org) know by Friday 30th June 2017. The current committee positions can be found on our website under the contact page.

Positions that are currently vacant on the Committee are as follows:

Club Treasurer

The Club Treasurer role involves liaising with Club members, the Committee and book-keeper for all financial matters. In addition, the Club Treasurer and Club Secretary form the Remuneration Committee to review particular financial issues (such as hardship cases) and make recommendations to the Committee.

Session Manager

The Session Manager role involves managing the incoming requests from the public for membership at the Club and maintaining the existing waiting list. This role also involves liaising with coaches to accommodate potential members for taster sessions and liaising with coaches regarding existing members to increase/decrease training time in the most appropriate training session. The Session Manager informs the Treasurer and Secretary when new members have confirmed their place at the Club.

Volunteers

We also welcome anyone who would like to volunteer with the planning of events, competitions and fundraising activities etc., but who would prefer not to join the Committee. Please contact Kim (kimp@cangaroos.org) if you would like to volunteer your services!
