Friday 30th November saw four members of the community run Friday Night Club come along for a free taster of trampolining at the Cambridge Cangaroos base at Sawston Village College. Under the watchful eye of Ali they tried out some of the basic moves of the sport and learned some useful tips.
The Friday Night Club is ran in the Sawston Village Hall and caters for children with special needs and learning disabilities. The club has been around for a long time and the Cangaroos were only too happy to help them out one evening and give their members a taste of trampolining.
The evening started with a brief introduction and warm up before jumping onto the trampolines along side some of the Cangaroos Squad members. All four did really well and walked away with smiles on their faces and some new stories to tell.
Thanks must go to Kat at the Friday night club along with the other helpers who helped bring the members across to try it out. We look forward to possibly working with them again in the future.
