It is with a heavy heart and the deepest of sadness that we announce the passing of Steve Locke, an inspiration to the Trampoline East Region.
Steve was more than just a coach and a judge to trampolining. He embodied the spirit and everything that is great about our region and our sport as a whole. Whether it was his dedication to Apex and Bramston Flyers Trampoline clubs, his endless supply of corny jokes and jolly smiles, the showing off of his crazy Ferraris, the annual visit he made voluntarily (payment of bacon butties excluded) to help with our own club competition, or the hundreds of children and adults he made smile right before they competed at regional gradings.
Whilst it is a great sadness his flame has passed we should all feel honoured we were there to watch it shine.
