Something a lot of you may not know, is that our very own coach Laura Able is a cancer survivor.
Laura first came to Cangaroos for her children's trial session right after a long period of chemotherapy. Whilst there she could not resist having a go herself, you never really forget how to do it. The rest as they say, is history.
We are all so very proud of Laura as a superero coach, club treasurer and dear friend of the club. This March, along with a herculian feat of getting Cangaroos ready to return to training, Laura is walking 10,000 steps every day to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
