Cangaroos Club Competition 2013
The 2013 Club Competition was an exciting day and it was great to see so many gymnasts and parents attend our annual event that this year included an exciting Christmas fair!
Regional Schools Championships 2013
Two of our Cangaroos were in action at the Eastern Region Regional Schools qualification event.
Cascais Beach Cup 2013
Luis ventured out to Portugal to be our first ever international competitor and certainly did us proud.

Congratulations to Tony Fagelman who was named coach of the year at the Living Sport Awards this year!
Dragons Open 2013
20 members from Cambridge Cangaroos Trampoline Club travelled to Easton College, Norwich for the annual Easton Open, hosted by Dragons Trampoline Club.
Waitrose Green Pennies
Cambridge Cangaroos has been selected as one of the three Good causes for this month's box scheme at the Trumpington branch of Waitrose
Brentwood Open 2013
Records broken, end decks tested, trophies collected, new judges trained and some incredible chocolate cake. All in a days work at the Brentwood Open!
Disability Sessions
The Cangaroos are pleased to offering trampolining for adults and children with learning difficulties and disabilities. These sessions will run midday on Saturdays at Sawston.
Mars Milk Fund Vote
To help raise money for the club please vote for us in the Mars Milk Fund. Voting is easy and only takes a few minutes and can be done once every week per email!
Andrew passes his National Judging Course
Andrew has once again been busy with his judging as recently he received word he had passed his national brevet judging course with category 1 scores.

Ultimate Trampoline
Our brand new 4x4 Ultimate trampoline has now arrived at Sawston thanks to funding from Sport England!

Shelford Feast Demo 2013
The Shelford Feast demo was another incredible demo as the Cangaroos showed exactly why we are one of the leading clubs in the region. A huge turn out and a great atmosphere as the Cangaroos delighted and entertained the crowd!
ARM Trampoline Demo 2013
Every year the Cangaroos make their way to the Arm Summer Party to do a trampoline display for the employees. Under the sweltering sun it was one of our best displays ever despite the absence of a PA system.
National Finals 2013
The National Finals in Birmingham was one of our greatest ever performances with Matt finishing 3rd, Luis 9th and Ali 12th. We owe a massive thanks to all who attended and helped with events leading up to the day and hope we can top it next year!
Gymaid Funding Approved for our new Ultimate 4x4 and disability equipment
Cangaroos is proud to announce that our application to Sports England for a grant to buy a new Ultimate 4x4 and various disability equipment has been approved.
Regional Championships 2013
The first ever regional championships was held at Wisbech College and was a region wide tournament which turned out to be a massive success for the Cangaroos.
Andrew passes his L3M3 Coaching Award
The club is proud to announce that Andrew Aistrup has now passes his L3M3 coaching award as of Tuesday 4th June. Andrew will now be getting ready for the L3M4 module taking place on 23rd June. Good luck!!
North Gala 2013
The final national gala of the season saw the Cangaroos journey up to South Shields for the last chance to qualify to nationals or to gain promotion. This time we had Ali, Taranne and Trinity competing at National C in trampoline and Luis competing in FIG B for DMT.
Easton Grading 2013
The fourth regional grading of the year took place at Easton College near Norwich. With a total of 25 entries it was another busy but successful day at the competitions.

South West Gala 2 2013
The penultimate gala of the season was also Taranne's first and offered Luis the promotion to FIG B! A truly great time in Bath!
Saturday 11th CRC sessions are not running
This Saturday (11th) the CRC sessions will not be running as both Luis and Ali will be competing in synchro at the South West National Gala in Bath. Both have been training hard and this is the first time they will be competing their routines with the aim of staying in time with each other. Good luck!
Tony signs off his HPC qualification
Sunday 28th was the day when Tony completed his HPC practical coaching examination. After months of work and tireless effort he has now completed the highest coaching level a coach can elect themselves to do. This is a truly great step for him and the club as we aim to continue our growth and presence on the national stage.
Ipswich Grading 2013
The third grading of the year took place in Ipswich and included DMT. The star of the day being Imogen Pickup with her double 1st places!
Anthony passes his trampoline stunt exam
Congratulations to Anthony Skrimshire who passed his trampoline stunt exam - Anthony had been training long and hard to improve his technique and flew through the exam. We wish him all the best with his future endeavours in the film business!

Frances passes her L1 coaching course
Congratulations going out to Frances Pickup who passed her L1 coaching course today. Frances has coached as a session helper for some time and we are proud that she has complete the first major stage of her coach development. Best of luck!
Summer Term 2013
We are now starting to fill are registers for Summer 2013. Existing members will have first choice over any vacancies. Please check your emails and confirm your choices back to Ali as soon as possible.
Comic Relief 2013
The 2013 comic relief took place in Sawston and was a massive success. We wish to thank all of the members, coaches and parents who turned up. Your constant support is always appreciated and we look forward to an even more prosperous year than 2012!
National Schools Championships 2013
The National Schools final saw Matthew and Sydney head up to Cannock to compete in the final round of the schools championships.
Saffron Walden Grading 2013
The 2013 Saffron Walden grading was a massive success for the club and the region. Cangaroos had over 60 entries and took home an impressive haul of silverware. The tireless efforts of an army of volunteers meant we can continue to run one of the best regional grading competitions of the season.
Cangaroos Awards Evening 2013
Over 80 people filled the Marven Centre at Sawston Village College to celebrate the annual awards given out by Cambridge Cangaroos Trampoline Club to its deserving members.
The awards evening included a fish and chips supper and disco, with the high-light being the awards to our members.
South West Gala 1 2013
The second gala of the year took place in Bath. Ali, Matt and Myffy returned with the aim of achieving FIG after both already qualifying in Gillingham.
Spring Half Term
Hi everyone, please remember this coming week is half term so all centres will be on a one week break till February 17th except for Sawston on Saturday and Saffron Walden on Thursday. Have a good break!
Andrew Passes his L3M2
Congratulations must go to Andrew Aistrup who has just passed his L3M2 coaching qualification as he flies up the coaching ladder.
Brentwood Grading 2013
The 2013 Brentwood Open was our largest ever entry to a competition not hosted by the Cangaroos. 32 entrants along with parents coaches and judges from the club descended on The Brentwood School Sports Centre.
South East Gala 2013
The South East Gala in Gillingham saw the Cangaroos journey down to Gillingham for Luis, Ali and Matt's first gala of 2013. With Tony coaching and Andrew judging national season is well and truly open.
CRC Sessions closed today (21st) due to snow
The Cambridge Regional college is closed today (21st January) due to the adverse weather conditions. As such CM1, CM2 and CM3 will not be running. Stay warm and be safe! We will update about Linton shortly!
Zonal Schools Championships 2013
On January 20th a contingent from the trampoline clubs in Cambridgeshire, Essex, Herts and surrounding areas battled their way through the inhospitable snowy conditions to compete at the Mid UK Zonal Schools competition in Monmouth, hosted by Welsh Gymnastics.
Galaxy Hot Chocolate Fund

Andrew passes his L3M1!
Coach, judge and welfare officer Andrew Aistrup has just passed his L3M1 marking another qualification to add to his list. Tony was once again his examiner as Andrew now aims to sign off his M2 and take his final two module courses this summer. Best of luck!
RIP Andie Buckley
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Andrea "Andie" Buckley, head coach at Cambridge Aspire.
Circuit Training 2013
Circuit Training is BACK at Sawston on Fridays at 6pm for all members, parents and friends. Suitable for all ages and abilities, circuits are a fun way to keep fit, meet new people and stay active.
