Welcome to Cambridge Cangaroos

Cambridge Cangaroos was formed in June 2004, it now has over 70 active members and 5 coaches, plus a large number of enthusiastic assistant coaches. We are based at Sawston Sports Centre and operate satellite centres at Netherhall Sports Centre and our new satellite centre at Chesterton Sports Centre. We hope to begin sessions at Cottenham Sports Centre shortly.

The 2008 AGM - 3rd July, Sawston Sports Centre
The 2008 AGM will be held in the PHU at Sawston Sports Centre on 3rd July, starting at 7.30pm. This year we will be ratifying new policies for all members and club officals and we would like as many members as possible to come along. This is your club and your chance to have a say in how we operate and how we run. Even if you dont want to be a part of the running of the club, we want your input. So please make the effort and join us. We would be grateful if you could inform the committee if you are going to attend.

Presentation Evening
Following the AGM on 3rd July, the club will be holding its first ever presentation evening. For more details please click here

URGENT - Parents needed to volunteer to help out in official capacities for 1/2 days at competitions - talk to Tony or a member of the committee if you are willing... The club will subsidise any judging courses and we will teach you how to record or marshal.

"ROOS" - This has now been operating very succesfully for a year, it certainly doesn't seem that long since we started the session especally for our under 7 bouncers. The Roos sessions operate 9.00am - 10.00pm on Saturday mornings and have their own dedicated coaches. We have currently got limited spaces available in the Roos session. If you would like your child to be considered for the Roos, please contact info@cangaroos.org. More information about the sessions and a full report on the Roos activities in 2007 is available at Roos

Cottenham Sports Centre:
Cangaroos have been invited to extend their satellite sessions to North Cambridge. We hope to start sessions at Cottenham Sports Centre within the next few months. The sessions will be run by Cangaroos coach, Shona Taunton and will be on new equipment for which we are currently seeking grant funding.

Sport Relief - The club raised over £100 for Sports relief 2008. Click here for details
