History

Formation

Cambridge Cangaroos Trampoline Club was started in June 2004 by parents of children who took part in recreational trampolining sessions run by Sawston Village College Sports Centre.

Many of those original parents still form part of the club committee - all committee members are un-paid volunteers as the club is run as a community non-profit club for the benefit of the members. The club was started to allow members to improve in the sport through better coaching and by representing the club at British Gymnastics gradings and open competitions.

2004 - 2019

The Cangaroos trained at a variety of centres around Cambridge including CRC, Netherhall, Sawston and Saffron Walden. The club grew in size and we became a larger team regionally and nationally but were always at the mercy of court hire.

In order to continue to develop we needed to expand and after seven years of search we found ourselves a permanent home...

Where are we now?

On 10th August 2019 the Cangaroos moved to their own full-time centre in Whittlesford just south of Cambridge.
